Adada Healthcare Services is currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) to work at an NHS hospital in Gillingham. As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a range of settings, including wards, clinics, and community settings. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, healthcare assistants, and therapists, to deliver patient-centered care that meets the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of our patients.  Responsibilities: 
  • Assessing and planning care for patients: As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical and mental health, developing care plans, and implementing them in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. You will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of care plans and making necessary adjustments to ensure that patients' needs are met

You will also be responsible for monitoring patients' responses to medications and treatments and reporting any adverse reactions
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs: As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will be responsible for monitoring and recording patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. You will also be responsible for assessing patients' pain levels and providing appropriate pain management interventions
  • Communicating with patients and families: As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will be responsible for communicating with patients and their families about their care and treatment plans. You will also be responsible for providing emotional support to patients and their families and answering any questions they may have
  • Documentation and record keeping: As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. You will also be responsible for documenting any changes in patients' condition, medications, and treatments
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals: As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, healthcare assistants, and therapists, to provide coordinated care to patients. You will also participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and coordinate care
  • Providing health education: As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will be responsible for providing health education to patients and their families. This may include information about disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and self-care
Minimum Requirements:  To work as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) at our NHS hospital in Gillingham, UK, you must meet the following minimum requirements: 
  • Valid in-date Nursing and Midwifery Council's membership: You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and have an in-date membership
  • At least 6 months' of working experience: You must have at least 6 months' of working experience as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in the UK
